Manotick School of Music is the Place to Play! We are now offering a fun-filled summer of music and more! Students will explore different instruments, rhythms, and styles of music in group instruction from talented professionals. Ukulele, piano, recorder, rhythm instruments, voice… we will try it all! Campers will build their own instruments from recycled materials, have lots of shaded outdoor activities, have a Friday pizza party, and spend an afternoon at the local pool, weather permitting.

This is an action-packed, fun, and educational week you don’t want to miss! Friends and family are invited to the Friday afternoon showcase to see examples of what campers have been up to all week.

We provide all the instruments and no experience is necessary – all levels are welcome!

One Week Session

Dive into summer with four days of voice camp! Professional instructors from Manotick School of Music will lead students in voice-jam, small group ensembles, duets and solos in a fun-filled week of singing. Learn some FUNdamentals of music and how to bring the best out of your voice while making new friends. In friendly competition mode, see if you can make a teacher’s chair turn, and battle it out in vocal team showdowns!
Weather permitting, we will play games and rehearse our songs in the cool shade of the park, and spend an afternoon swimming at a nearby pool. The week will culminate in a vocal showcase on Friday afternoon that is open to friends and family.

Suitable for all experience levels.
